Dear beloved,
Jesus said in John 15:16 You did not choose me, but I
chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that
your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he
may give it to you. What I am scared of is not whether our Father will give us
whatever we ask but rather am I bearing fruits and do my fruits remain?
This was what actually the Lord told John Mulinde’s late wife, “Your works were
not bearing fruits.” Understand that she was not an ordinary minister but one
who was very renowned and well-known internationally. If the Lord had rebuked
because of her work, what more about us?
Let us study carefully
what John 15:4-5 said, “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot
bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless
you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and
I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing”
Let us learn to be Christ centered believers which is also one of our Church
Biblical foundations.
Secondly, we must also
remember Paul’s warning to the most gifted Church in 1Co 13:1-3 If I speak in
the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a
clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all
mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove
mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I
deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Dear Lord, forgive us
for missing the mark. Help us to abide in You as branches unto the Vine. In
Jesus most precious name we pray, Amen.

至亲的，
耶稣在约翰福音15章16节说“不是你们拣选了我，是我拣选了你们，并且分派你们去结果子，叫你们的果子常存，使你们奉我的名，无论向父求什麽，他就赐给你们。” 我很害怕的不是我们的父亲是否会给予我们所求的一切而是我有没有结果子和我的果子是否还存？这就是主对约翰穆林迪已去世的妻子说的，“你的事工没结果子。”要明白她不是一个很平凡的牧者而是国际上有名的.如果主可以训斥她因她的事工，那我们呢？
让我们小心的研读约翰福音15章4至5节“你们要常在我里面，我也常在你们里面。枝子若不常在葡萄树上，自己就不能结果子；你们若不常在我里面，也是这样。我是葡萄树，你们是枝子。常在我里面的，我也常在他里面，这人就多结果子；因为离了我，你们就不能做什麽。”让我们学习成为以基督为中心的信徒，这也是我们教会的圣经基础之一。
第二，我们应该记得使徒保罗对有恩赐的教会给的警告在林前13章1至3节“我若能说万人的方言，并天使的话语，却没有爱，我就成了鸣的锣，响的钹一般。我若有先知讲道之能，也明白各样的奥秘，各样的知识，而且有全备的信，叫我能够移山，却没有爱，我就算不得什麽。我若将所有的 济穷人，又舍己身叫人焚烧，却没有爱，仍然与我无益。”
主啊！求禰原谅我们缺少的标志。帮我们时常至禰里面好像枝子在葡萄树里。奉耶稣的圣名我们祷告，阿门。
