Pastor's June 2013 Message

Dear beloved, 

GE13 is over but the election fever has not subsided. We see many still gather legally or illegally in many cities to air their disapprovals of the newly formed government. As such,  we have angry people all around us, whether from this party or the other. But be sure not to become one of them.  The scripture says in Eph 4:26-27  “Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil”.

What should be our response then? He assures us in Jeremiah 29:11 “ For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope” and He adds  in Psa 37:9  “For the evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the LORD shall inherit the land”.

 Beloved, the timing of God is important.  Has He not said in Ecc 3:11  “He hath made everything beautiful in His time?”

Dear Heavenly Father, we trust in Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
