Dear beloved,
Looking back, 2014
has truly been a year whereby our nation has gone
through much wind and storms. Could it be the shaking of God over our
nation? As the Lord has said in Heb 12:26-29 At that time His
voice shook the earth, but now He has promised, "Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens."Yet once
more," indicates the removal of things that have been shaken—that is,
things that have been made—in order that the things that cannot be shaken may
remain. Therefore let us be grateful
for receiving a kingdom that
cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with
reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.
Fear not for though our God is a consuming fire, He never wants
us to be burnt nor removed. His whole purpose is to remove all the dross
in our lives. Before He brings justice on this earth, He has to set our house
in order for it is written in 1 Pe 4:17 For it is time for
judgment to begin at the household of God. Our part is to follow what Apostle
Paul has advised in 1 Co 3:12-14 Now if anyone
builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw—
each one's work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it
will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has
done. If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will
receive a reward.
Dear beloved, let us enter into this new year 2015 by allowing
God to consume all the dross of worthless things in our lives and build
ourselves on the foundation in Christ alone.

Dear Lord, consume us with Your fire, purify us like gold and
silver being purified. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
亲爱的，
回顾2014年，对我国来说实在是一个风风雨雨的一年。这是否意味着神的手正在摇动我国呢？正如希伯来书12：26-29 所说的，‘当时，祂的声音震动了地，但如今祂应许说：“再一次我不单要震动地，还要震动天。这再一次的话，是指明被震动的，就是受造之物都要挪去，使那些不被震动的常存。所以，我们既得了不能震动的国，就当感恩，照神所喜悦的，用虔诚、敬畏的心侍奉神。因为我们的神乃是烈火。’
虽然如此，无需惧怕，祂不是要我们被除灭或烧毁。祂主要的目的是要除去我们生命中的杂质。祂还没有审判这个世界以先，祂必须先将自家里的次序调整好；因为彼得前书4：17道，‘因为时候到了，审判要从神的家起首。’我们的责任就是使徒保罗在哥前3：12-14 所劝告我们的；‘若有人用金、银、宝石、草木、禾秸在这根基上建造，各人的工程必然显露，因为那日子要将它表明出来，有火发现，这火要试验各人的工程怎样。人在那根基上所建造的工程若存得住，他就要得赏赐。’
亲爱的，进入新的一年2015年，让我们容许神在我们生命中消灭一切杂质和无价值的东西，然后单单在基督上建造我们生命的根基。
