Dear beloved,
Our Lord Jesus said
in Matthew 7:21-23 “ Not everyone who says to Me, Lord!
Lord! shall enter the kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My
Father in Heaven. Many will say to Me in
that day, Lord! Lord! Did we not prophesy in Your name, and through Your
name throw out demons, and through Your name do many wonderful works?”
And then I will say to them
I never knew you! Depart from Me, those working lawlessness!”
It is time for us
to prioritize our lives. As parents and church leaders, we have been
emphasizing on the importance of education, gifting, talents, money, knowledge
and so forth. But all these would not get our children nor church members to
heaven. It is scary to fall in the categories of Matthew 7:21-23, right?
Let us then set our
hearts to seek the will of God. Secondly, how we can get to know Him and be
known by Him?
Apostle Paul in Philippians
3:7 shows us the price he paid in knowing God. “But whatever things were
gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ”. Knowing God and obeying His
will was his top priority. (Philippians 3:10 that I may know Him
and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being
made conformable to His death;)
Dear heavenly Father, (1John 5:20) And
we know that the Son of God has come, and He has given us an understanding so
that we may know Him who is true. And we are in Him that is true, in His Son
Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and the everlasting life. In Jesus’
Name, Amen.

至亲的，
我们的主耶稣在马太福音7章21-23节说，「凡称呼我『主啊，主啊』的人不能都进天国；惟独遵行我天父旨意的人才能进去。当那日必有许多人对我说：『主啊，主啊，我们不是奉你的名传道，奉你的名赶鬼，奉你的名行许多异能吗？』我就明明的告诉他们说：『我从来不认识你们，你们这些作恶的人，离开我去吧！』」
现在是我们优先考虑我们的生命的时候了。作为家长和教会领袖，我们一直强调教育，恩赐，才能，金钱，知识等的重要性。 但所有这些都不会使我们的儿女或教会成员到天堂。 可怕的是属于马太福音7章21-23节的类别，对吗？
让我们第一，一心一意的去寻求神的旨意。 第二，我们如何能认识祂并被祂认识？
使徒保罗在腓立比书3：7中向我们显明了他在认识神时所付出的代价。“只是我先前以为与我有益的，我现在因基督都当作有损的。” 认识神并遵守他的旨意是他的首要任务。[腓立比书3:10 - 使我认识基督，晓得他复活的大能，并且晓得和他一同受苦，效法他的死]
亲爱的天父（约一5：20）我们也知道，神的儿子已经来到，且将智慧赐给我们，使我们认识那位真实的，我们也在那位真实的里面，就是在他儿子耶稣基督里面。这是真神，也是永生。奉耶稣的名，阿门！
