Dear beloved,
Recently we read about the increase of suicide cases in Malaysia. It is reported that there are 60 cases of suicide monthly. It is really shocking. What has gone wrong with our society? Please read… [“The numbers from the National Suicide Registry may not be accurate but the general trend points to the 20-39 age group making up the highest number of suicides,” said Adnan who is head of the Counselling and Psychological Services Centre of Taylor’s University.
It is alarming that teenagers and young adults are taking their own lives in the face of mounting pressure in school, work, dealing with family issues and breakdown in relationships.
The National Suicide Registry Malaysia (NSRM) estimated that between January and August last year, a total of 425 people committed suicide, averaging 60 per month (including undetermined deaths.)]
Let us not join “the fingers pointing parties” like Adam and Eve did after their fall. But rather turn back to God in repentance. We who are in Christ are the hope for the nation. For it is written “judgement begins from the house of God”. (I Pet. 4:17).
Now, fellow beloved brothers, you who are the head of the family need to turn to God first. For in Psa 112:1 said “ Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who greatly delights in his commandments! Psa 112:2 His offspring will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Psa 112:3 Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever”.
Dear Heavenly Father, we pray that men in every place will lift up their holy hands and pray, without wrath and doubting. (1Ti 2:8) and in Your mercy, turn the hearts of the young people back to You. Let them know that Christ is in them and their hope of glory. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

最近我们读到有关在马来西亚的自杀率的上升。根据报导在一个月内就有六宗自杀事件发生。这消息实在令人心惊胆跳。 我们的社会在那儿出错了？ 请读：[“这些从国家自杀登记局所发出的数字或许不是很准确， 但现今普遍的风气显示，年龄二十至三十岁是構成自杀率最大的一群。”身为泰莱大学辅导及心理服务中心的首长安南这么说。青少年及年青人当面对繁重的压力，不论在学校、工作及处理家庭纷争和破碎人际关系时轻易地毁灭自己的生命已经敲起了警报。国家自杀登记局沽计在去年的一月份和八月份之间，总共有四百二十五人自杀， 那就是说平均每月六十人。（包括不确定死亡的。）]
让我们不要成为‘指责的一方’就像亚当和夏娃犯罪堕落后所做的，乃要回转以悔改的心归向神。我们这些在基督里的人是人民的盼望。圣经说：“审判是从神的家开始。”（彼前4：17）
现今，亲爱的弟兄，你身为一家之首必须首先转向神。因在诗篇112：1 说：“赞美神，敬畏耶和华，甚喜爱他命令的，这人便为有福。”第二节：“他的后裔在世必强盛，正直人的后代必要蒙福。”第三节：“他家中有货物，有钱财，他的公义存到永远。”
亲爱的天父，我们祷告在每一个地方的男人将举起圣洁的双手来祷告，没有忿怒和疑惑。（提前2：8）
在你的慈爱里，使年青人的心转向你。让他们了解基督在他们里面，成为他们荣耀的盼望，奉耶稣的名，阿们。

February "Babies"
14 brothers and sisters celebrate their birthday in the month of February. Pastor Ling Bek Sing blessed them with prayer. They are: Cheong Yuet Chang, Lilian Thai, Muk Lai Kit, Sarah Yap, Janice Chun, Hansen Chew, Hilary Chooi, Chiang Choong Horng, Phun Chun Kit, Sophia Heng, Joyceline Ooi (represented by mother), Andrew Hew, Rebekah Wong & Wong Tuck Foo (represented by daughter).
