Dear beloved,
Mother’s Day falls on 8 May this year. Let’s greet all mothers “ A Happy Mother’s Day.” There is an old classic Chinese song we use to hear every now and then’ “The best person on earth are mothers. Children with mothers are like treasure, motherless children are wanderers…” Mothers truly play an important role in keeping families together and raising up children. In the book of Proverbs 31; King Lemuel spoke highly of his mother. But sometimes their overly concern and cares can be taken as nagging to the children. Look at Proverbs 31:2 “What are you doing, my son? What are you doing, son of my womb? What are you doing, son of my vows?”
Yet it is mothers’ love and sacrifices that King Lemuel proclaimed in Pro 31:10 Who can find?... For her value is far above rubies.
Mothers, may you be like what Pro 31:28-29 said “Your sons rise up and call you blessed; your husband also, and he praises you saying “Many daughters have done well, but you excel them all”.
Dear Lord, we thank You for mothers, we pray that all their love and sacrifices for their children will bear fruits. For Your word in Psa 126:5 says “ Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.” In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

亲爱的，
五月八日是今年的母亲节。恭贺母亲们有一个“快乐的母亲节。”有一句家户喻晓的民谣这么说到，‘世界上只有妈妈好，有妈妈的孩子像个宝，没有妈妈的孩子像根草……’母亲们在抚养孩子和栽培家庭中的确扮演着一个重要的角色。
在箴言31中利慕伊勒王对他的母亲有着极高的评语。 但有些时候，过份的关心和注重反而被孩子视为是唠叨。箴言 31:2 “我的儿啊， 我腹中生的儿啊，我许愿得的儿啊，我当怎样教训你呢？”
然而，利慕伊勒王在箴言31：10宣称母亲的爱和牺牲。“谁能得着呢？……她的价值远胜过一切！ 母亲们，愿你们能成为箴言31：28-29所说的：“你的儿女起来称你有福，你的丈夫也称赞你，才德的女子很多，惟独你超过一切！”
亲爱的主，我们因着母亲们而献上感恩。我们祷告她们为孩子们所付出的爱和牺牲将得到回报。因为你的话在诗篇126：5说道：“流泪撒种的，必欢呼收割。”奉耶稣的名，阿们。
