Dear beloved,
At the end of the first half of every game, the coach would gather the team and charge them seriously:whom to watch out and how to tackle the opponents in order to win. Similarly, we are now at the end of the lst half of 2012. How do you fare so far? Let me journey with you by giving you this admonishment of Apostle Peter, who himself learned his lessons from the school of hard knots.
I Peter 5:8-9 says, “Be on your guard and stay awake. Your enemy, the devil, is like a roaring lion, sneaking around to find someone to attack. But you must resist the devil and stay strong in your faith. You know that all over the world the Lord's followers are suffering just as you are” (CEV)
Therefore beloved, we don’t need to look around for the devil. He is around anyway. What is more important are the four practical applications in our lives. ·
Be sober-minded·
Be watchful·
Resist the devil·
Stay strong in your faith.
Heavenly Father, help us to stay strong and watchful till the end. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

在每一场赛事的上半场接近尾声的时候，身为教练的总会聚集他的成员们很认真地指示他们那些人他们必须要小心防守和要怎样对付对手以赢取该场比赛。同样的，我们现在正处于二零一二年上半年的尾声。你觉得你的进展还好吗？
请让我给你这个从使徒来的忠告。彼得自己是碰过钉子后才学习到这门功课的。彼得前书5：8-9 说：“务要谨守、儆醒；因为你们的仇敌魔鬼；如同吼叫的狮子，遍地游行，寻找可吞吃的人，你们要用坚固的信心抵挡他，因为知道你们在世上的众弟兄，也是经历这样的苦难。”
因此，我们不需要四处去寻找魔鬼。他就在附近。更重要的是把这以下的4点在我们的生命中实践地运用出来。

儆醒
抵挡魔鬼
坚固你的信心
天父，请帮助我们保持健壮和儆醒直到最终。奉耶稣的名，阿们。
