According to the Chinese calender, 2014 is “The Year of Horse”. Horse is a symbol of warfare. “Pro 21:31 The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD”. Truly, we are facing a challenging time. Just look around us, politically speaking, no issue has become an issue! People react over small matters. Economically, we cannot deny many are going through hardships. We can go on and on. Yet, as believers in Christ, we are called not to be weary but we must be prepared to serve this generation as we are called to do so.
Jer 12:5 "If you have raced with men on foot, and they have wearied you, how will you compete with horses? And if in a safe land you are so trusting, what will you do in the thicket of the Jordan?
Beloved, understand that our Lord has said in Psa 147:10 His delight is not in the strength of the horse, nor his pleasure in the legs of a man, Psa 147:11 but the LORD takes pleasure in those who fear Him, in those who hope in His steadfast love”
Dear Lord, thank you for showing what lies ahead and prepare us for this season. Amen.

亲爱的，
根据华人日历，今年是‘马年’。马是战争的象征。箴言21：31说：“马是为打仗之日预备的，得胜乃在乎耶和华。”说实在的，我们正面对着一个充满挑战性的时代。看一看我们的周遭，以政治的角度来看；小事件往往被搞化成大事，人民在小事上作出很大的反应。以经济的角度来说；我们不能否认很多人正面临困境。我们还可以长篇大论地说下去。
但是，身为基督徒，我们不要担忧掛虑，但我们必须做好准备以便服侍这世代的人，因我们是为此事而被呼召的。耶利米书12：5说“你若与步行的人同跑，尚且觉累，怎能与马赛跑呢？你在平安之地，虽然安稳，在约旦河边的丛林要怎样行呢？”
亲爱的，要明白主在诗篇147：10曾说过：“祂不喜悦马的力大，不喜爱人的腿快。11节：耶和华喜爱敬畏祂和盼望祂慈爱的人。”
亲爱主，谢谢袮指示我们前面日子将要发生的事和为这时刻预备我们。阿们。
