Dear
beloved,
Our
nation will be declaring her 58th year of independence this 31
August 2015. But many would say in their hearts “What has this got to do with
me?” Our current issues really have left us in a limbo! Many are angry,
frustrated and feel helpless. What then should be our response as believers in
Christ? I would like to take from the scripture Hab 3:17-19 Although the
fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines;
the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the
flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in
the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my
salvation. The LORD God is my strength,
and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will
make me to walk upon mine high places.
Just as God had His eternal plans for Israel, He too has
great plans for Malaysia. We are a multi- racial country with multiple races,
foods, tongues, languages, etc. Truly, Malaysia is a rainbow nation of
Asia. As Malaysians, we all have a rightful place in this nation. God has
put us here with a purpose. Can you imagine how dark our nation will be without
anyone sharing the light of His salvation?
Rom 10:13-15 For
"everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." How
then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to
believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without
someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it
is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good
news!"
Lord,
we thank You for Your Salvation plan. Thank you for putting us here in this
beautiful nation Malaysia to bring hope to this land. Amen.

至亲的，
我们的国家将于二零一五年八月三十一日宣布她独立的第58年。但是，很多人会在他们的心中说“这对我有什么关系我吗？” 我们目前的问题确实给我们留下了好像是无人过问！许多人愤怒，沮丧和无助的感觉。那么，基督徒应该怎样回应呢？我想从圣经哈巴谷三章十七至十九节看“虽然无花果树不发旺，葡萄树不结果，橄榄树也不效力，田地不出粮食，圈中绝了羊，棚内也没有牛；然而，我要因耶和华欢欣，因救我的神喜乐。
主耶和华是我的力量；他使我的脚快如母鹿的蹄，又使我稳行在高处。这歌交与伶长，用丝弦的乐器。”
正如上帝有祂对以色列永恒的计划，他也具有很大的计划为马来西亚。我们是一个多种族，食品，方言，语言等等的国家。诚然，马来西亚是亚洲的彩虹之国。作为马来西亚人，我们在这个国家中都拥有一席之地。上帝把我们放在这里是有目的的。你能想象我们的国家将会怎样的黑暗如果没有人分享祂的救赎之光？
罗马书十章十三至十五节“因为「凡求告主名的，就必得救。」 然而，人未曾信他，怎能求他呢？未曾听见他，怎能信他呢？没有传道的，怎能听见呢？若没有奉差遣，怎能传道呢？如经上所记：「报福音、传喜信的人，他们的脚踪何等佳美。」
主啊，我们感谢你的救赎计划。感谢袮把我们放在这里，将希望带到这个美丽的国家马来西亚。阿门。
