January 2009 Message

Dear beloved,

When you read this message, you must praise the Lord because you are still around. But there is one question you need to ponder. "What would you like to achieve for the year 2009?" You may say, "Well, I do not know because every year is the same to me. When I set goals I always land up disappointed. What can I do?"

Well, Psalms 138:8 says "The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever." I believe the purpose of God for each of us is still the same. Perhaps, we can do the same things in a different way this time. One pastor prayed "Lord I want to love you more" and the Lord answered, "Count the things you did in the past that shows your love for Me." In another word, it is not just the doing but how we do it. For example, when we give we don't give out of our compulsion but out of love.

Dear Lord, thank You for Your steadfast love. Surely You will accomplish Your purpose for us. Amen.

不过,在诗篇138:8说,"耶和华必成全关乎我的事.耶和华啊!祢的慈爱永远长存." 我相信神在我们每个人的身上有同样的旨意.我们也许在这次可以用不同的方法来做同样的事.有一个牧师祈祷说:"主,我要更爱祢." 主回答说,计算一下你曾经向我做过显出你爱我的事.在另一面来讲,不是单单只是做,而是怎样去做.例如,当我们施舍出去时,不是带着强迫性而是爱.
亲爱的主,多谢祢的慈爱,祢确实会完全实行祢的旨意在我们的生命里.阿们!
